The visiting Falcons knocked off Tremper by winning three of five sets: 20-25, 25-22, 25-19, 21-25, 16-14. The win improved Central's record to 7-4-1 overall and 2-0 in the SEC.

The Falcons were able to take control of the match during the third game thanks to the work of Kyle Foulke. In the fourth game the Falcons were paced by Jordan Meyers who helped Central go on a 7-0 run with his serving. 

"We have a lot of history and culture at Central, and that showed up tonight", said Coach Schultz. "If not for that, we may not have come out of here with a win". 

According to Schultz the game turned by the performance of seniors Mike Skora, Kyle Foulke, and Jon Sattersten. "They had some big swings at the net including two critical kills in the fifth game".
