In the first half we found our rhythm early and played with good tempo and movement. We struck home in the 25th min from a strike from the edge of the 18 by Bobby McNealy. We continued to control the first half and then we were in for a storm.
Lightning delayed the second half and Antioch came out with fire creating many dangerous chances. Stout defense from Train Pielhau and Scott Hanover held strong and our keeper Chase Erickson had an eventful evening parrying several shots wide. Antioch played with extreme fire but we had just enough of an advantage to hang on.
Beating a team we haven't beaten at all in my tenure in the program is certainly a confidence booster.
