The Falcons took third place at the Southern Lakes Conference Volleyball Tournament. In the first round, Westosha was able to knock off sixth seeded Badger 25-18, 25-8, 27-17. In the second round the girls fell to second seeded Union Grove 29-31, 25-20, 25-23, 21-25, 9-15. After the loss to the Broncos, the Falcons were placed in the third place bracket where they were able to knock off Waterford 28-26, 15-25, 25-22, 21-25, 15-13.
"We left everything we had on the court today. Playing the maximum number of games (13) was tiring, but the girls played with a lot of heart and emotion" said Coach Berg.
Leaders for the Falcons include: Maddie Brown (49 kills, 38 digs), Kaeley Mueller (27 kills), Rachel Barthel (21 kills, 59 digs), Abi Marquenski (21 kills, 10 blocks), Sarah Blair (80 digs), Emily Bible (40 digs), and Danielle Stachura (108 assists, 31 digs).
