The Westosha girls cross country team won the 2014 Southern Lakes Conference Meet. The Falcons were lead by Senior Melissa Capra who also won the meet last year. According to Coach Olsen, "we had a terrific day".
Capra captured the race with a time of 19:50.5. This was also her fifth race in a row that she finished first overall. Capra's effort also helped secure the team victory for the Falcons with a score of 36 points. The next closest team was Badger with 71 points.
Coach Olsen said, "Melissa ran consistent and true to form".
Joining Melissa was her sister Meghan who finished fifth with a time of 20:56.4, Maria Sabourin who was seventh inn 21:04, Mackenzie Maccaux who was 11th in 21:33.8, and Maddie Murphy who was 12th in 21:38.7/
