The Westosha Boys Cross Country team earned its eighth state berth on Saturday by finishing second at the WIAA Sectional that was held at UW-Parkside. 

According to Coach Olsen, "the boys were a little under the radar. I don't think a lot of people really though we could do that. They came and brought it today. They ran a great race. It was one of the most exciting races I've seen in a long time. It was intense and it was close." 

CHS Junior Jacob Hebior completed the race in second place with a time of 16:15.3. Helping Hebior to take the Falcons back to the WIAA State Meet were Shane McNealy (4th - 16:27.5), Lucas Leydens (20th - 17:34.9), Matthew Holloway (25th - 17:40.1), and Michael Yule (28th - 17:51.3). 

"It's a great feeling", said Hebior. "I'm glad that I'm able to bring my team with me this year. Last year it was just me and Shane and a whole group of girls."
