KENOSHA BRADFORD H.S.: 0
On the boys side at the annual Kenosha County Cross Country Meet, the varsity team all placed in the top 20.
The boys were paced by their one-two punch of Jacob Hebior and Shane McNealy. Jacob finished second overall with a time of 16 minutes and 19 seconds. Shane was just behind Hebior, finishing third with a time of 16 minutes, 26.6 seconds.
According to McNealy, this was his best race so far. On a side note, Shane went straight from being crowned the 2014 Homecoming King to running his personal best. McNealy also said "the team is gaining in strength and improving. Hopefully, we can make it to state as a team".
Coach Olsen said, "I was real pleased with what we did. Coming in, the girls were defending champs and on the boys side Tremper and Bradford have state qualifiers, so edging out Tremper was a big win for us. Our front running has been good, but we need to focus on closing the gap from our ones and twos to the rest. We're really sitting nice this year. I like where we're at".
