Ameche Field - Westosha Central 1:1 Indian Trail Academy
First game of the season and the Falcons rose to the challenge. A scoreless first half was highlighted by a stout defense holding Indian Trail to very few shots while we still created chances. Trace Miller hitting the post on a beautiful volley and Scott Hanover clearing a ball off the line from a corner kick was arguably the defensive play of the game and kept the score line empty.
Going into the second half the game became more aggressive and physical. Central surrendered a goal from a miscleared corner kick but responded when Freshmen Davin Cummings slotted a ball into Indian Trail's net. Keeper Chase Erickson also had a magnificent punch over the goal and Nick Uzzardo created one last flurry nearly chipping Indian Trail's keeper.
When the final whistle blew, Central walked off the field having shown a brave effort and a respectable score line. GO FALCONS!
