First blood on the season goes to Luke O'Neill with an aggressive piece of dribbling into the Hawks' defense. A hard drive to the left exposed the keeper's side netting with Luke drove the ball into.
#13 Miller 88'
Mitchell Kirsch floated a lovely ball into the corner, where Trace Miller delivered a soft floated over the head over the Hawks' keeper.
In general I thought we played well. There are still things to fix but the play was confident and had heart. Chase had a noteworthy varsity debut with several impressive saves. However, our younger players as a whole are still adjusting to varsity speed. With a few corrections, we have a bright season ahead.
