Quick combination play from McNealy and O'Neill drove into the 18 of St. Joe's. O'Neill was taken down and a weak clearance lands on Pielhau's foot and into the back of the net.
We hit the woodwork multiple times and had multiple goals disallowed....so the scoreline is not reflective of how dominant we were. But season's first win, and a small step towards excellence.
Other notable performances:
Christiansen....a madman in the air. As Drax the Destroyer says "Nothing goes over my head...my reflexes are too fast." (Sorry, perfect chance for a Guardians of the Galaxy reference.) The right line was sealed and nothing was getting through.
Rudd....you'll get one. You were robbed tonight, on multiple occasions.
All in all, a nice game gentlemen. Still work to do, but it was nice.
