Megan LeQuense (Kerkman), Class of 1997
While attending Westosha Central High School, Megan LeQuesne was a standout three sport athlete in girls’ basketball, girls’ volleyball and softball. She was a six time CHS letter winner, two in each sport. Additionally, by the time she graduated she had been selected All-Conference in every sport and for every year that she was a varsity athlete.
After graduating from Central in 1997, Megan continued her softball career at UW-Whitewater. While at UW-Whitewater she was named 1st Team All-WIAC (1998, 1999, 2000, 2001), WIAC Player of the Year (2001), All-Region (1998, 1999, 2000, 2001) and Team MVP/Captain (2000 & 2001). Her UW-Whitewater teams competed in the NCAA All Great Lakes Regional (1999 & 2000) and the NCAA Tournament (1998, 1999, 2000). Megan was inducted into the UW-Whitewater Athletic Hall of Fame in 2016. Megan graduated in 2002 with a degree in Business Finance. Megan and her husband, Brian, created B & M Fencing in 2002. Currently Megan is busy running the family business, taking care of her two kids Kolten and Cobie, coaching baseball and volleyball, and serving as a board member for Lakeland Little League.
