STOUGHTON: 0
The Falcons fell short in their effort for an upset win in the first round of the WIAA Soccer Tournament 0-2. Coming into the game Westosha was ranked sixth, while the Vikings from Stoughton were seeded third.
Stoughton first got on the board late in the first half. The Vikings added to their lead in the second half with another goal. According to Coach Kao, "Had this been a dry day neither goal would have happened, but this has been a season of misfortune for us".
Kao credited the play of Seniors Luke O'Neil, Morgan Clark, Trent Rudd, Steven Switalla, Mitch Kirsch and Doug Danielson for their contributions to the CHS soccer program.
