Keli Jo Storz (Lenz), Class of 1997

While attending Westosha Central High School, Keli Jo participated in golf, basketball and softball. Mrs. Storz started the tradition of dominating pitchers at CHS. She burst on the scene as a sophomore at the WIAA State Tournament in 1995.

“I smile every time I think of KJ. She brought her own brand of fun and light heartedness to every tense situation. I would walk to mound with some serious words of wisdom and she would smile and say “I got this.” And she always did. She earned every accolade that came with her success. Keli Jo had a great career at Central and I am proud to her continuing to coach and teach all the while raising two beautiful children with husband Mark. Congratulations Keli Jo on this great honor”.  Coach Kris Allison

Following her graduation from CHS, Keli Jo attended the University of West Alabama where she played collegiate softball on a full scholarship. While playing collegiately for the Tigers she had the most hits in a single game (5). Following her college graduation, Keli Jo worked as a graduate assistant and then a paid assistant softball coach for the University of West Alabama until 2005. After 2005 she moved to North Carolina and was an assistant for Elon University until 2009. Since 2009, she has been teaching physical education at the high school and elementary level.
